The Carmacks Community Housing Study was a pilot project conducted by Yukon Housing in partnership with the Northern Research Institute to assess local housing needs and support program planning. The survey, conducted in 1998, collected data from nearly all dwellings in Carmacks, including technical inspections of a sample of homes. This report summarizes the deliberations of the community-based Housing Team and presents findings to inform housing improvements in Carmacks and other Yukon communities.
